Blackboard Community was founded on the belief that creativity as a career, should be accessible to anyone with talent. Established and led by Nkanyezi Masango, the NPO introduces students from township high schools to advertising, design, photography, film and much more. After 10 years, Blackboard is now active in Western Cape, Gauteng and KZN. It’s partnered with Nikon and supported by YDA (Young Director Award). But most importantly, Blackboard has yielded award-winning talent, including Michael Moyo and Lungisani Mjaji who have won gongs at Loeries and featured by Lurzers Archive.
